(Came into rescue only because owner died.)

Daddio is a magnificent and noble beast with some charming quirks.  He is a very friendly, mellow dog who is fond of squeezing into tiny spaces. He has an elegant, stylized method of wiping his feet: Rather like an ice dancer (wipe HOLD, wipe HOLD).

His skills: walks nicely on lead, learning auto-sits and "Wait/Okay", crate trained ("pop in the box"), drops whatever is in his mouth on command, will lie down and calmly accept teeth brushing & nail grooming with electric grinder.

Daddio got a lot of love from his former owner but little of the focus and direction that dogs thrive on as pack animals.  He is blossoming now with his new found "job", doing obedience work, and a structured schedule with clearly defined boundaries.

His needs: A calm and assertive owner willing to continue his training, who would enjoy developing a strong partnership with a dog.  Must have respect for canine psychology:  Daddio is not a "fur person".

Daddio comes with free training consultations for his new owner and follow-up support for dental and nail care. He is good around well behaved dogs and children but would do best in a calm home.

Daddion is fine with cats.

Placement fee: $175 includes #500 Vari Kennel, food and water bowls, and collar and lead.

Up to date on all vaccines and microchipped.
